Everyone loves their job for one reason or another and everyone can’t stand their job for one reason or another. But what are some of the most popular and fun jobs in the country? Some of the most popular jobs in the country entail driving. Yes, driving for a living. This may seem monotonous, lengthy, and repetitive but these types of jobs can be very rewarding for the worker. Examples of these types of jobs are delivery drivers, mail carriers, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, truck drivers, bus drivers and many more. Many driving jobs come with specific requirements before a person can obtain the job.

Most truck drivers are certified before they can hit the road. Certification includes going to truck driving school and taking written tests as well. Others that need certification but not to drive are firefighters, police officers, and EMTs. All three of these public servants need to attend a specified amount of classes to obtain their badge. They also need to learn how to correctly drive a fire truck and maneuver a police cruiser at high speeds. All of these jobs that involve driving come with incredible benefits.

The benefits we speak of are traveling the country for truck drivers and getting to know all of the back roads and low volume roads for police officers. Having a job that entails driving all of the time can become boring, repetitive, and monotonous but the rewards are great. Truck drivers can make a very nice salary traveling the roads of the country. Driving jobs also include not so high paying jobs such as pizza delivery and other food delivery services. The majority of these jobs are paid by the hour but the driver will also receive tips from the place that they deliver to. Other driving jobs include flowers delivery and package delivery by companies such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL.

One of the most difficult driving jobs around today is driving a school bus. Students riding a school bus all know each other and sometimes aren’t civil with each other. The bus driver has to try and keep the peace on the bus while also monitoring the road and getting the students to their destination safely. Whatever happens on the bus is the responsibility of the driver. If a fight breaks out on the bus, the driver is supposed to pull over, call police, and try to break up the fight. Another difficult driving job is that of a public transit bus and taxi cabs. Taxi cab drivers put their lives on the line everyday by driving around complete strangers from destination to destination. Some taxi drivers are attacked by their passengers and robbed of the money they have collected for the night. Not every job that involves driving is all fun and games and easy to do. Some of these jobs are downright dangerous and scary at times, such as being a firefighter or a police officer. Bus drivers and taxi cab drivers also have the advantage of getting to meet a variety of different people when on the job.
